Remote luxury in the Ahuriri Valley

The Lindis sits alone in the Ahuriri Valley in the Mackenzie high country, under two hours from Queenstown. The main lodge is a piece of architecture in its own right - an undulating timber-and-glass roof that follows the line of the hills, with five suites looking out over the river and the mountains.

For more seclusion, book a Mountain View Pod or one of the private cabins further up the valley. The valley is vast, empty and quiet, made for fly fishing, hiking, horse riding, stargazing and slow days.

Food and wine are a focus, cooked from local produce and served with valley views. It's a stay for people who want design, space and true remoteness without giving up comfort. One of the most striking lodges in the South Island.
